The ZKTeco EC10 Elevator Control Panel is a specialized solution designed to enhance elevator security and access management. It allows restriction of access to up to ten floors, utilizing various user credentials such as fingerprints, proximity cards, or passwords. To accommodate buildings with more floors, the EC10 can be expanded by connecting up to three EX16 Elevator Floor Extension Boards, each managing an additional sixteen floors, thereby enabling control of up to fifty-eight floors with a single EC10 setup. For larger installations, multiple EC10 panels can be daisy-chained to manage an even greater number of floors.
The EC10 boasts a fingerprint capacity of 3,000, supports up to 30,000 RFID cards, and can log up to 100,000 events, ensuring robust performance for high-traffic environments. It communicates with PCs via TCP/IP or RS485 interfaces and connects to EX16 boards through RS485. The system supports pre-defined time schedules to control floor access and offers a passage mode for unrestricted access during designated hours. For software developers aiming to integrate the EC10 into broader systems, an SDK is available, facilitating seamless customization and integration.
