This means you don’t have to choose between 2.8mm or 4mm when you buy it. You can sit at your computer after it’s installed and zoom the lens in or out electronically until the view is perfect.

It can act as a wide-angle camera or a long-distance spotter.Wide (2.8mm): A 106 degrees field of view for general area overwatch (e.g., a whole front yard).Zoomed (12mm): A tight 35 degrees field of view. This is powerful enough to zoom in on a distant gate or a specific parking spot to capture high-detail license plates.Auto-Focus: Once you zoom in via the NVR or app, the camera automatically adjusts its focus to ensure the image is tack-sharp.
