Akuvox NX-2 and NC-2 Ethernet to 2-wire Adapter Kit

The Akuvox NX-2 & NC-2 Ethernet to 2-Wire Adapter Kit is a specialized retrofit solution designed to convert traditional analog 2-wire cabling into a functional IP network. This kit allows you to install modern IP intercoms and touchscreens in older buildings without the high cost or structural impact of running new Cat5e/6 Ethernet cables.

How the Kit Works
The system uses a “master and slave” configuration to transmit data and power over existing copper pairs:

NX-2 (Network Interface): Typically connects to your main network switch or router. It converts the digital IP signal into a format that can travel over 2-wire cable.

NC-2 (Device Interface): Connects to the far end of the 2-wire cable (at the door or inside the apartment). it converts the signal back to Ethernet and provides PoE output to power the connected Akuvox intercom or monitor.
