The AXIS Q1800‑LE is a purpose‑built licence plate camera optimized for recognition at vehicle speeds up to 250 km/h (155 mph), with capture range up to 100 m. It integrates seamlessly with third‑party LPR or VMS software and features rugged IP66/IK10 housing for reliable outdoor performance.

The AXIS Q1800-LE (03107-001) is a high-speed, long-range license plate capture (LPC) camera. Unlike a standard security camera that takes wide shots, this is a precision optical instrument “tuned” specifically to handle the high contrast and rapid movement of reflective license plates.

It is built on the ARTPEC-8 platform and is uniquely designed to serve as a high-quality “capture engine” for either the Axis-native LPR application or specialized 3rd-party software.
