The Dahua PFT1300 is a specialized 3-port PoE extender that allows you to double the range of your network cable while potentially adding a second camera to the same line. It is a “passive” device, meaning it draws its own power from the incoming PoE line and doesn’t require an external power outlet.
Key Features & Capabilities
Dual-Camera Support: It features one PoE input and two PoE outputs. One output is typically used for a local IP camera, while the second can be used for either another camera or to cascade to another extender.
Extended Range: Standard PoE is limited to 100 meters. A single PFT1300 can extend this to 200 meters. By “cascading” (connecting two PFT1300s in a row), you can reach a total distance of 300 meters.
Plug-and-Play: No software configuration is required. It automatically detects the connected devices and manages the power distribution.
Versatile Mounting: Its small footprint (79mm x 52mm) allows it to be tucked inside a junction box or mounted on a DIN rail in a server rack or fuse box.
