The Hanwha Wisenet SBP-300HMW5 is a “Hanging Mount” (or cap adapter) specifically designed for the QNE-7080RV/7080RL (the Flat-Eye/Flattop series). This adapter is the essential “middle-man” that allows these specific cameras to be mounted onto standard 1.5″ NPT threaded accessories.

Why this part is necessary
The QNE-7080Rx series has a unique flat-faced chassis that doesn’t natively screw into a wall arm or ceiling pipe. The SBP-300HMW5 snaps onto the top of the camera, providing a threaded neck that connects to mounts like the SBP-300WM1.
