The Hikvision DS-PM1-I8O2-H is a high-speed wired input expander designed to scale the capacity of the AX Hybrid Pro control panel. It uses Hikvision’s proprietary Speed-X bus technology, allowing for significantly longer cable runs and faster communication than traditional RS-485 expanders.
This module is essentially the “bridge” that allows you to add up to 8 additional wired sensors (like PIRs, door contacts, or smoke detectors) to your hybrid system while only running one bus cable back to the main panel.
The Hikvision DS-PM1-I8O2-HW is a wired zone expander for the AX Hybrid Pro control panel. The expander has 8 on-board zones and 2 on-board collector outputs. The zone expander communicates with the control panel with high-speed RS-485 connections. The standard allows for a connection distance of 900m, and a secondary connection port allows for multiple zone expanders to be set up in cascade mode.
