Tensor Security supplies and supports the systems Australian businesses use to protect their people, premises and information - CCTV and surveillance, access control, alarms and intrusion detection, intercom and visitor management, networking infrastructure, and cybersecurity services.

What we actually do

Most security problems are not solved by a product. They are solved by putting the right equipment in the right places, configured so the people who need footage or access can get it and nobody else can. We spend as much time on where a camera points and who holds which credential as on which model goes on the wall.

That is why our range spans whole systems rather than isolated parts. A site that needs cameras usually also needs somewhere to record them, a network that can carry them, and power and cabling that will still be sound in five years. Buying those from one place means the parts are specified against each other rather than in isolation.

Working with what you already have

Very few sites start from nothing. Existing analogue cameras can stay in service behind encoders while new areas go in over IP. Access control can be extended door by door. We would rather stage an upgrade you can afford than quote a replacement you will defer indefinitely.

Cybersecurity as a service, not a product

Our cybersecurity work is advisory: security assessments, vulnerability scanning and security awareness training. These are engagements rather than items in a cart, which is why they have their own pages and an enquiry form rather than a Buy button. Physical and digital security increasingly share the same network, and a camera system is an internet-connected device like any other.

Straight answers

If a product is wrong for your site we will say so, and if a cheaper option does the job we will tell you that too. We would rather lose a sale than supply something that disappoints once it is installed.
