1. Payment methods
Tensor Security accepts payment by credit card and by direct bank deposit. If you need to arrange something else, call us on 1300 737 998 and we will sort it out.

2. Payment with Credit Card
We accept VISA and MASTERCARD. A 1.5% surcharge applies when a credit card is used to pay an outstanding balance on a credit account.

Card payments are processed through a St George Bank payment gateway. We do not handle your card details directly - they go to St George, and your card number is never seen by anyone but the bank's server. Details are encrypted with industry-standard SSL before they leave your browser.

As part of our information protection policy:
**We do not store your credit card details anywhere on our systems
**We only use third parties that satisfy our security standards
**We use networking security measures such as firewalling and VPNs

Large transactions may involve additional screening, and we may contact you to confirm a couple of details before proceeding. This can add a day to your order, and it is in the interests of every cardholder that we do it.

3. Payment with Direct Deposit
Please use your order ID as the payment reference so we can match your payment to your order. Without it, we have to find your payment by hand and your order waits.

Our bank account details:
Bank: St George Bank
Account Name: Tensor Security
BSB Number: 112-879
Account Number: 452686867

Direct deposits generally take 1-2 business days to reach us. Your order is processed once the payment arrives, so if you need something quickly, a card payment clears immediately.

4. Payment for installed systems
Supply-and-install work - CCTV, access control, alarms, intercom and structured cabling - is quoted individually, and the payment terms are set out in that quote. If anything in it is unclear, ask before you accept it rather than after.

5. Why was my Credit Card declined?
Usually one of three things:
1. Insufficient cleared funds
2. The card has expired
3. An incorrect CSC number, which prevents the transaction completing

If you are having trouble paying by card, call our team on 1300 737 998 and we will process the order manually. We do not charge to help you place an order over the phone.

6. What is my Credit Card's CVC2 number?
Your CVC2 number is the Card Security Code - a 3 or 4 digit number printed on your card. We ask for it at checkout for your protection: it is an authentication measure that helps prevent fraud, and a card number submitted with the wrong CVC2 will not be approved.

On VISA and Mastercard it is the last 3 digits on the back of the card. On American Express it is 4 digits on the front. It is also called the CVV, CVV2, CSC or CID number.

An "Error 12" almost always means the security code was entered incorrectly.
