Lockwood 3579HS series electric mortice lock. Less cylinder. Suitable for unique applications where fail secure functionality is required externally with fail safe functionality on the inside.

To achieve this function the lock must be used in conjunction with an electric strike.

The Lockwood 3579HS is SCEC endorsed for secure area applications.

Monitoring includes dual key override, dead latching, door closed, door locked, request to exit and reed switch.
The lock can be operated by push buttons, intercom systems and key switches; or integrated with electronic access control systems for use with higher security devices such as keypads or card readers.

• 2 x 2 mm stainless steel plates fixed through the lock provide increased strength to the cylinder and latch areas of the lock.
• All handing type features of the lock including hub selection, anti-lockout screw and reversible latch are accessible without removing the plates.
• Field selectable Fail Safe (inside only) or Fail Secure function (outside only).
• 60 mm backset, 89 and 127 mm also available.
• Solenoid locking/unlocking of lever handle (inside only).
• Operating voltage 12-24Vdc.

• 500mA (max) 80mA holding @ 12Vdc
• 275mA (max) 50mA holding @ 24Vdc
• Includes 1.6 metre cable with 12 pin socket.
• Supplied with positive latching 12 pin plug emanating from the top of the lock on a short length of cable.
