Axis T8504-E

The T8504-E Outdoor PoE Switch/ AXIS-01449-001 gives you a quick and easy way to deploy outdoor cameras over long distances and keep your installation costs low. It's also a robust, low-upkeep solution, but if and when maintenance work is needed, remote management makes taking care of it a simple matter. This switch is specifically designed for fibre-optic connections, which are typically used in city surveillance, airports and other long distance installations. Made for the surveillance industry, the T8504-E Outdoor PoE Switch is a perfect companion product to both Axis solutions and third party products.

The T8504-E is compatible with select Axis bridges, door controllers, door stations, fixed cameras, fixed dome cameras, I/O relay modules, illuminators, modular cameras, PTZ cameras, positioning units, radar detectors, recorders, speakers, thermal cameras, video management software, and video encoders. Sealed in an aluminum dust- and water-resistant case, the surge-protecting T8504-E is ideal for city and airport surveillance, as well as other long-distance fiber-optic installations.

You can install the T8504-E using standard Axis tools such as the Axis Device Manager and Axis IP utility, which automatically discovers and displays Axis devices on the network and helps you set the IP address of Axis network video products.

IP67-certified for resistance to dust and water immersion, the T8504-E is designed for installation on a pole or similar outdoor structure.
