Product Overview
The Axis P5414-E PTZ Dome Network Camera is an attractively priced, outdoor-ready HDTV 720p PTZ dome with 18x optical zoom for wall-mount surveillance installations. Designed to blend in with the environment, the camera is ideal for use in city and perimeter surveillance, parking houses and school yards.
Designed to blend in with a building, AXIS P5414-E mounts directly on the wall with a built-in bracket for ease of installation. When mounted on the corner of a building, it enables 270° pan for wide area coverage. AXIS P5414-E features a direct drive pan/tilt system with no belts or gears, enabling reliable, low-maintenance mechanics. The sunshield can be easily removed and repainted to match the wall color. A hidden junction box supports two-way audio, a memory card slot, four configurable input/output ports, 24 V DC and Power over Ethernet.
This Network Dome camera compresses footage using H.264 and MJPEG formatting, maximizing your bandwidth and storage. Additionally, video can be streamed in multiple individual streams, and frame rates and bandwidth are controllable for further customizing your network. A microSD slot supports on-site recording, however, the camera can also record remotely to a dedicated NAS. The network is secured with a number of safety features, including password protection, IP address filtering, and HTTPs encryption. PoE technology allows you to transfer both data and power over the same Ethernet cable, minimizing the amount of cables needed during installation, and the camera is IP66- and NEMA 4X-rated weatherproof and IK07-rated impact resistant for use outdoors and in high-risk areas.
