Axis Q8685-E

The Axis Q8685-E is a highly responsive and reliable positioning camera, designed for continuous and jerk-free pan/tilt movements (360 degree endless and 135 degrees from ground to sky). When column-mounted, it enables a 360 degree unobstructed field of view. The AXIS Q8685-E provides HDTV 1080p video quality, 30x zoom, WDR - forensic capture, focus recall and Zipstream. It features both RJ45 and SFP interfaces, enabling a long-distance fibre connection with a failover network link. Capable of operating in extreme temperatures, withstanding hurricane-strength winds and including an integrated long-life wiper removing raindrops, dirt and grime, AXIS Q8685-E is ideal for a wide range of adverse environmental conditions.

Axis Zipstream technology compresses video footage in H.264, reducing bandwidth usage and storage requirements. In addition, video can be streamed in multiple individual streams, and bandwidth and frame rates are controllable for further customization of your network. Once configured, your surveillance network is secured with safety features, including password protection, IP address filtering, HTTPS encryption, network failover mode, IEEE 802.1X network access control, digest authentication, user access logging, and centralized certificate management.

This device will send an email notification or store video recordings of an event to edge storage when it occurs. It is ONVIF-compliant for Profile S and G, making it compatible with a wide range of surveillance devices. The camera's aluminum enclosure is IP66- and NEMA 4X-rated for outdoor use.
