Axis XP40-Q1765

The Axis XP40-Q1765 Explosion-Protected PTZ Network Camera is suitable for onshore, offshore, marine and heavy industrial environments. As the camera features a 316L stainless steel housing certified for hazardous areas according to for example ATEX, IECEx and UL. The housing prevents any inside sparks or explosions from escaping and igniting gases or dust in the surrounding air. The Axis XP40-Q1765 provides superb image quality and color fidelity and a high level of flexible integration with other equipment, such as access control and fire alarms. It offers flexible remote accessibility using any existing IP-based networks.

The XP40-Q1765 uses a 1/2.9" progressive scan CMOS sensor for 1920 x 1080 resolution at 30 fps, and it features a 4.7-84.6mm varifocal lens for a 59-4° horizontal field of view. Wide dynamic range provides high-quality images in varied lighting, while brightness, sharpness, white balance, and backlight compensation features allow you to configure your camera based on different environments. The camera also comes with built-in analytics, such as motion detection and active tampering alarms. The camera has the ability to compresses footage using H.264 and MJPEG formatting, maximizing your bandwidth and storage efficiency. Additionally, video can be streamed in multiple individual streams, and frame rates and bandwidth are controllable for further customizing your network. A microSD slot supports on-site recording via the included 64GB microSD card and the camera can also record remotely to a dedicated NAS.
