Hanwha's Pentabrid video recorder range is a rare find in the market as they allow both analogue and IP cameras to connect and run simultaneously on the same unit. These recorders are a fantastic way to introduce the latest technology into existing sites or to prepare for future migrations to IP.
The HRX-821 or the HAN-HRX-821 can run 8 analogue cameras, with up to 2 additional IP cameras, or when running IP only provides 10 available channels. This recorder produces up to 4K UHD resolution and can hold up to four 6TB hard drives totalling 24TB of storage. The Pentabrid recorder can convert any channel, at any time between analogue and IP with a simple software switch so there's no additional investment needed. The Pentabrid line offers a familiar interface while accepting multiple camera brands and technologies such as AHD, TVI, CVI, CVBS and IP.
