Tactical Power Products TP-TPS24-6DC

The Tactical TP-TPS24-6DC power supply is a fully regulated switch mode power supply providing 24.1Vdc at 6A. Due to its switch mode design, this power supply generates significantly less heat than equivalent supplies of linear design. Additionally, the TP- TPS24-6DC features very low noise at full load with overload, short circuit and over voltage shutdown protection and is configured with a high output 1.4A battery charger.

In the event of mains failure, standby battery voltage is clamped to 24Vdc and instantaneously powers the load - particularly useful for powering voltage sensitive devices such as long-range proximity card readers and other ''true 24Vdc'' equipment. When the mains voltage is restored, batteries are disconnected from the load and recharging commences automatically.
